The Rev. Dr. Michael J. Feicht , Senior Pastor
Michael is married to Elizabeth with three children and two grandchildren. He has served as the Pastor of the First Baptist Church since 1991. His goal at the church is to serve the people of the larger community through a church that is “Christ-centered, Biblical and socially relevant.” Our vision is to always be a church that makes a difference.
He holds a Masters degree in literature, a Masters in Divinity and a Doctorate in communication. In the past Michael has served as a Peace Corps volunteer, high school teacher, and college and seminary adjunct faculty member. His personal mission leadership reaches Rwanda with economic development projects, and the Middle East with evangelism and education. Local outreach serves communities of Camden.
We live in a highly mobile, changing society that has serious challenges. Our families experience many needs and demands. Pastor Michael seeks to minister in our world with the gospel of Jesus Christ, who brings meaning, forgiveness and love.
